Physical surveillance is the discipline of seeing that behaviour early, documenting it accurately, and giving you the time and the evidence to act.
Greyveil provides two forms of the capability. Protective surveillance places trained observers discreetly around a principal, family, residence, or corporate site to detect hostile interest early, without visible security presence and without changing how you live or work. Investigative surveillance gathers evidence in support of legal, corporate, or family matters, instructed directly or through counsel, with material captured and handled to standards suitable for legal proceedings.
Every task passes a lawful-basis, necessity, and proportionality assessment before deployment, with data protection obligations under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 built into tasking, retention, and disclosure. If the objective can be met by a less intrusive means, we will say so and recommend it. Where surveillance reveals criminality or an imminent threat, referral to police is a matter of policy, not discretion.
